Say hey to Energy Specialist, Lilly!

Hey Lilly, introduce yourself:
Hey! I'm Lilly, I started working here in August last year after leaving school a bit earlier than expected due to the pandemic. This is my first full-time job, I chose to work full time rather than go to university and I'm so glad I made that decision. I've gained so many life skills from working here and have grown so much in my confidence and in general as a person.

What is feel-good energy to you?
To me, feel-good energy is being optimistic and not taking life too seriously. Being understanding of others and supportive to those who need it.

Name someone in your circle who embodies feel-good best and why:
My friend/ colleague Alice definitely embodies feel-good energy for me. She's someone who I really clicked with from when she joined our team, mostly because she's so honest, down-to-earth and funny that you instantly feel at ease around her.

What's your top energy saving tip?
My top energy saving tip is to buy a few more jumpers and turn the heating down a few degrees!

What's the best bit of feel-good advice you every got?
The best bit of feel-good advice I've got is that the energy you give out is the same energy that you'll receive. So if you're someone who always gives out friendly, supportive energy you're likely to receive the same thing back from others.

Describe your week in 3 words:
Productive, unpredictable, interesting.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?
The thing that gets me out of bed is definitely the people around me. I'm very sociable and thrive off support from others which I get an unbelievable amount of in this role.

What’s been your most memorable day at E.ON Next?
My most memorable day is probably when our team had a virtual 'self-care day' and all got our facemasks and skincare treatments out on zoom. The highlight of this job is definitely spending time with your team, I for one have made friends for life here.

What is your top tip for working well from home?
My top-tip for working from home is to always have a cup of tea and some chocolate handy for a boost, make sure you go outside in your lunch break (don't go the whole week without taking a breath of fresh air!) and try to give yourself some-what of a routine to make this all seem kind of normal.
