Meet Energy Specialist, Gabrielle. Gabrielle helps our customers with any queries that they might have as well as being involved with our payments and recruitment working groups.
Hi Gabrielle, introduce yourself to the readers:
Hey I'm Gabrielle, I am an energy specialist at E.ON Next and also involved in the payments/recruitment working groups. Before joining E.ON Next I was a full time student studying Psychology (OOO I can read your mind. As exciting as that may be I definitely can't read peoples minds!!).
Throughout my degree I was involved in jobs such as marketing/sales and retail. In my free time I love visiting new places and trying out new restaurants. Fun fact: I played one of the 7 dwarfs in a performance on a cruise ship!
What is feel-good energy to you?
Feel-good energy to me is being able to help other people when they are in need, knowing I can help others and make their job that little bit easier is the best feel-good energy.
Name someone in your circle who embodies feel-good best and why:
Mahesh in my team embodies feel-good best, he also has a music quiz or some kind of quiz up his sleeve to lift the spirits of others!
What's your top energy saving tip?
Always remember to turn plugs and switches off, you could be using energy even without realising!
What's the best bit of feel-good advice you every got?
Someone once told me to always look for something positive in each day, even if some days you have to look a little harder.
Describe your week in 3 words:
Exciting, heart-warming, rewarding.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Knowing I can put a smile on somebody's face that day.
What’s been your most memorable day at E.ON Next?
My most memorable day at E.ON Next was the first time going into the office in Leicester. I remember thinking to myself these are the coolest offices I have ever worked in. When I walked in I felt such a good atmosphere and everyone that I met were so kind and friendly. It was a really special day.
What is your top tip for working well from home?
Always keep in contact with your team and others over zoom or just a simple message, it helps me feel as though I am not alone.
